About the Institute
Working in 1904 under the name "Pathology Laboratory" in the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Cairo University in Giza and then updated under the name of the General Directorate of Laboratories and Veterinary Research in the current building in the hunting club Street in Dokki. Continued development of the work of the Institute and its branches in the governorates of the Republic and in 1983.
